This year I ruined my lawn ...

I'm having a bad year in my yard. Started with the garden, I began everything late and nothing ever really caught up, my harvest was small and very late this year.
With the leaves I usually rake and bag them at least twice every fall. This year I waited till all the leaves had fallen and they were VERY deep and wet, and I just ran the mulching mower over them all, so now the whole yard is leafy brown, you can't see any grass at all.
It's 65 degrees here today and expected to be even warmer tomorrow. I was out walking at 5am and the sky was crisp and clear, the ground warm and dry. We're supposed to have a mild winter and I'm looking forward to it.
