When I started with my own claim in 1997 I got very lucky, found a Vietnam veteran on the Internet who was still waiting for a PTSD claim he filed in 1972. He won 100% in 2008. This man was incredible. I give him credit for winning my whole claim, this guy carried me on his shoulders. What a brother, I never would have made it without him.
Without an explaination (for now) ... I think this mass murder today will open a few eyes and be beneficial in the long run.
Everyone is being left behind. The government is hiding from the people. Watch for the guy (I missed his name) who just released a study in Rolling Stone magazine this month. He did his research on the murders at Fort Carlson in 2003 and found out the military don't give a CRAP about mental health. True then and true today. We can all talk up a storm but the help isn't out there. The army will take ANYBODY, the crazier the better, and when it's time for discharge you're gone, not a word is spoken. I can just imagine the pressure this Major was under, a MD/PhD (psychiatrist) in the army. Nobody on earth wants his job. Probably working 18 hours a day at the lowest possible pay. I feel sorry for everyone including the shooter. But I'm not surprised at all. And I'm glad the shooter is alive to talk, that's the best news I've heard yet.
