We have been getting many questions on our Region 19 walking trial. In my last post I said we would know by today. I would like one more day to get a better understanding of how the grounds look.
From what we understand the snow should not be an issue. The broken trees and flooding is what we are looking at. We are assembling a trail cutting crew and we will be at the Chippewa Forrest at 9 am tomorrow.
The plan is to cut courses so even if this R 19 trial does not happen we will be ready for the following 2 weekends of trials in WI.

Below are the steps to enter your dog(s) into an event. 1. Register/create an account on Huntsecretary.com (only need to be done once.) 2. Add your dog(s) - after adding only need to edit your dog’s information if updating. 3. Enter the event.
Step 1: • Create an account on Huntsecretary.com by visiting Huntsecretary.com and click on the Grey Button REGISTER. (It’s below the Login information) • Please note that we handle event from many different venues. If you don’t know what a box is (IE BSS/HRC), please leave it blank. • After you register, the system will send an email to active your account. • Once activated, you may login. • You may look around the site without logging in , however, to enter/add/edit a dog, you will need to login. • This only needed to be done once, after you register, you have an account. Step 2: • Add your Dog(s). • Click on My Dogs from the Main menu or menu bar. • The My Dogs page will list your dog(s) • To add a dog, please click on the ADD DOG button. • The next page is where you will add all your dog’s information. ◦ Registered name, breed, DOB, gender, sire/dam, registrations numbers, etc…. ◦ If you do not know what something is, please leave it blank. ◦ Please make sure you enter the handler information (at the bottom of the page. ◦ You may enter 3 handler names, and when enter an event, you will have an option to choose handlers.
• Please repeat the steps for all your dogs. • Please note: Please keep your dog’s information up-to-date, IE titles. Step 3: Enter the event. • Huntsecretary.com has various event calendars. • If you click on Hunt Calendar (maroon menu bar), you will see a drop-down menu. • Please click on the organization you are wanting to enter. IE American Field by UKC. • The next page is the event calendar. • This will show you all the events under that organization that is posted on huntsecretary.com • The Add to My Hunts box will add the event to the My Hunts page, however, it will NOT enter you. You must do the following steps to enter an event. • Please click on the event name. ◦ The next page is the event information page. It will show you brief information about the event. IE judges, stakes, etc. ◦ Scroll down and you will see a link to the premium. (this will show you detailed information about an event) as well as a link called View Entries. (this will show all the dogs entered) ◦ Scroll farther and you will see ENTER HUNT. (This link is how you enter/pay for an event.) ◦ Please go through each page. ▪ 1st page – check appropriate boxes. ▪ 2nd page – choose handler (this is from the information you entered when you added your dog) Note: THIS IS ALSO THE PAGE TO CHECK IF YOUR FEMALE IS IN HEAT. ▪ 3rd page – shows list of dog you are entering and amount ▪ 4th page – payment page ▪ 5th page – receipt ◦ After you enter it’s always a good idea to view the event entries to ensure everything is showing properly.
