Black Ash Summer Trial results

OK, it took nearly a week for me to figure out how to get the pictures on here, but here it is. The results for our Black Ash Wild Bird Dog Club summer Quail trial (if anyone sees any names wrong or spelling errors, let me know):

OPEN DERBY
1st (right side) Tom Mains with Chet
2nd Rob Matson with Klark
3rd Brian Ralph with Red

OPEN SHOOTING DOG QUALIFIER
1st (left) Laurel McKellop with Kitty
2nd Justin Mason with Bryant
3rd Jeff Angott with Maggy

OPEN SHOOTING DOG
1st (left) Justin Mason with Blaze
2nd Nick Lasica with Dude
3rd Jeff Angott with Bailey

With this hot humid 82 degree day, I'd like to congratulate all who participated as well as the winners!

I forgot to mention our judges & thank them. Again, a very hot & humid day, tough for walking judges.
Derby judges were myself, John McKellop, & my wife, Patricia McKellop.
Open Shooting Dog Qualifier judges were Rob Matson & Joe McCarl.
Open Shooting Dog judges were Brian Ralph & Joe McCarl.
To all the judges, we greatly appreciate your work & opinions!

the Black Ash club would also like to thank our bird planter, Jeff Keller. Jeff did an excellent job of planting in logical places, & coupled with strong flying Quail, made for some great finds.

And, we'd like to thank the Ralph family for supplying lunch. the lunch alone was worth coming for!

Congrats to all the winners. Another fun trial to start the season. Thanks to the Black Ash crew for putting together a well run trial.
