The last time I saw Rudy he was at a care facility in Clare. I went over to visit and he was out side waiting for 'Cowboy' (The kid that he called 'cowboy' that was helping him wrangle from time to time). We had a short visit when 'Cowboy' showed up to take him out for ice cream (good kid). Rudy passed a short time later. Ice cream on his lips and a smile on his face.

Rudy, was always so good when my son or daughter came to a trial with me. He would go out of his way to make sure they could help him move the horses.
Rudy is truly an icon of the Gladwin grounds. <><
