    Beside a prescription, whats a good choice for arthritis to use for dogs? Currently using gapipintin for pain and melixicam for inflammation.

      I'd try glucosamine SULFATE (not the more common HCL version).

        Mark: They both seemed to have worked pretty well for me. The hydrochloride has a faster uptake. In my older dogs I’ve been using Dasuquin with MSM. It combines Glucosamine Hydrochloride with Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate and MSM with a few other extracts. Dogs love them and their joints show improvement. TTYL Mike

          I purchased some Naprosyn and Nutri-Vet Aspirin . See if this helps, on thing the Nupro is a power form, So far he doesn't like on his food.
