I just got a new phone and it is right good. I got the HTC Hero - also rebadged as the T-Mobile G2. The OS is Google Android and it has got some pretty neat features. Now I also own the iPod touch so have a fair idea about the iPhone hardware and software and I have to say that I prefer the HTC. It is more customisable (as in the appearance and what icons you want where etc. It has excellent incorporation with Facebook and whilst the iTunes store is bigger, there are a lot of cool apps available on the Android marketplace. The Android OS and HTC's iSense GUI is great, user friendly and feature rich. There's a few comparison reviews about with various points of view but that's my two-penneth. iPhone is good but keep an open mind.
