Rio's needs to be a big venue dude. It always had the rep for being one of the best big music venues in the north, and i think Duke Street would be a waste fo time for that reason. It was an AIDS venue for live bands as Gasworks. Sound was shite, the stage was more like a letterbox, and it was way too small. I honestly think if done right, a huge venue like Penningtons would be perfect. Imagine the possibility of bands with a venue that size! Slayer in Bradford anyone?
