I am so sorry for your experience! The ladies who responded before I have great suggestions. There is a lot of assistance for BC treatment, and I have heard about a great deal of compassion from doctors, etc. as well. Please be sure to ask for help whenever you can. I agree that you should qualify for Social Security Disability. Do you have life insurance? I ask because many life insurance policies have a "living benefit" that pays out part of the premium while you are still alive to help with costs and expenses while we are alive under certain conditions. It is easy to apply for, I know this because last year my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This benefit helped us greatly. If you have a life insurance policy, you might check with them to see if you are eligible for living benefits and under what circumstances you could apply.
Also, posting on the newbie board might get you more and faster response!
