Hi Ruby,
I am plagued by the usual...nasty mouth, can't eat. I went to see my primary physician yesterday and he drew blood and sent me for a chest xray because I told him I was short of breath. So I talked to him today and he said that one of the blood tests indicated that I could possibly have a blood clot in my lung (s). So he had me go back to the hospital today (which is 35 miles away) to have a CT Scan of my lungs. So, since they used an iv dye I called my Onc's office and asked for some iv fluids after the CT scan because I am having problems with eating and drinking. So it worked out ok. The CT scan was ok as far as I know and I think the fluids will really help out.
I am so glad that chemo is over and I know it is just a matter of time and I will be well again but that doesn't help right this moment when my mouth is so yucky and my legs ache so bad. But thanks for asking Ruby. Sorry I am such a complainer but I won't be much longer!
