My vacation was wonderful even though Tropical Storm Debby stayed with us for about a week. It was relaxing and I did get a lot of well needed sleep.
So glad you got to go with your grandson but you are right, babies are for the young. They wear me out too.
I just stopped the process as far as the expanders go. I couldn't do the chemo and get the fills at the same time. I will probably wait a couple weeks and then start getting the fills. I am in no hurry although I really wish the whole thing was over with...soon, it will be over soon.
I am taking some time off from work with this last chemo since I was so sick with the last one. While I am off I am going to go see my primary MD and a cardiologist. I am so short of breath I can't walk a block. My legs are like lead too. I am really hoping that the chemo hasn't damaged my heart. But we'll see. I want to feel good again. I want to be able to walk a mile or 2 like I was doing before the chemo. And I want my appetitie back! I want to be able to taste food again!!! What I wouldn't do right now to be able to eat a big bowl of pasta and enjoy it!!!!
So good to hear from you Ruby. Wish me luck for a problem free last chemo!!! Yeah!!!
