Hello all. I was diagnosed with Medullary BC (rare form of BC only seen in about 5% of women)the end of April. On May 4 I had a lumpectomy. Since then, I've been trying to find a onc that didn't want to treat it so aggressive. I thought it was almost over after the surgery, because there was no node involvement & clear margins. Doctors are not in agreement about this type because it generally doesn't spread - some say once it's out - its over, other's want to treat it really aggressive. I finally found a happy medium and I'm preparing for chemo in the next week. I will have 4 rounds of TC. Can anyone offer advice and what to expect? Any info is appreciated.
