Dose Dense is more aggressive.used usually for the "young" and more aggressive BC types and those further along i.e. Stage 2-3-4.
There always exceptions I was Stage 1 and had dose dense because 1 I was young & 2 Triple Negative BC very aggressive and doesnt respond to Tamoxifin so after treatment (chemo) there is nothing else for us, so the docs hit us hard 1st time.
Ask you Onco why they feel you need dose dense, what is the reasoning behind it?
Dose dense hits the cancer cells before they have time to recycle themselves and start regenrating.... The cell cycle starts and is hit with the chemo in 3 weeks time it is ready to start regenerating itself if they hit it at 2 weeks they feel it doesnt have time to regenrate before it gets hit again, sounds good to me! get it!!
