I just saw your question about whether the markings were permanent. Mine were not permanent in any way! They do have to stay on for the month, so the markings are touched up every now and then. After the last treatment, the techs removed them.
I just avoided looking at myself in the mirror! I looked like a road map. After a week or so, I was OK, but was pretty freaked out at first.
Just hold her, she will be ok!
