Hi, I too experienced the bumps & mine were all over my scalp. They hurt very bad with the slightest touch that I would sleep with a neck roll 2 keep it elevated. Some said maybe shaving the head caused it, but I couldn't handle seeing the chunks of hair every where. I also didn't go completely shiny bald, but enough 2 be pretty close. Just another gift from chemo.
Well my doctor prescribed clobetasol. It comes in a foam mousse can. Plus I also read about using dandruff shampoo. To b honest I purchased the generic head & shoulders. The bumps lasted for about 2-3 weeks so not sure which treatment actually worked & I still continue with dandruff shampoo & use baby shampoo once a week. I also heard about using astringent. Well sorry if I gave you 2 much info, but u can pick through it.
Good luck with your fight. I go for my last chemo tomorrow. Been a long 3 months, but just like I made it you will too. Us women are very strong! Good luck. Keep me posted 2 see if it helped you.
