Cheryl--thank you so much for asking. She will have Chemo #7/8 next Friday and, for her, the Taxol has had more side effects than the AC did. She has bone and /or joint pain and is just starting to get numbness in her feet. Just 2 more treatments and then she gets a break before radiation starts.
The dr. has not done a PET scan yet--is there a typical time that they do this? She had a bone scan and some type of full body scan before chemo, but I'm wondering when they will do some sort of PET scan?
She had 2 masses in her uterus also, prior to chemo, and the gyno and onc. agreed that they did not think they were cancerous, so she will probably have a hysto after radiation. I feel so bad for her. Thank you SO much for remembering me and her and for keeping in touch.
