I had a similar allergic reaction on my second dose of Taxotere. You were reacting to the caster oil derivative they use to suspend the drug in solution. Not to worry. They will dose you with extra steroids before each chemo and it shouldn't happen again. It doesn't happen with the first dose because your immune system didn't have antibodies yet. They developed after the first dose. Now they know this happens and can prevent it. Try to relax about it and not worry. The doc and nurses will take good care of you.
