I am so sorry that you had such a reaction to the Taxotere. A question...did you take all the premeds before the Taxotere infusion?. This is very important in that it helps to keep such a reaction from occurring. Another thought..if you are taking any meds other than those prescribed by your oncologist they need to know that before your Taxotere infusion. Some meds are not compatible with the chemo. Just check with the nurses there.
I am sure that the oncologist and nurses will monitor your next infusion very closely...perhaps a dose adjustment or rate of infusion change. This is commonly done in such circumstances and is done to safely give you the medications that you need. Hope it all goes well. Those chemo nurses are great and you should be just fine.
