I wish I shaved my head. My onc told me to get a very short haircut, so I did. But it was really uncomfortable later when my hair starting falling out onto my skin and clothes and into my sheets at night. What a mess. If I ever need chemo again, I'll shave my head before I begin. I had head sores after my second A/C infusion, and then it was too late to shave my head. But that's just me. Most women don't get head sores, and mine cleared up after I started Taxol. When all my hair finally fell out, I was much happier. I word scarves and hats and that worked for me.
