Janel,
My sister lost her hair right around day 14-15. We were surprised at how accurate that time frame is. She chose to keep it until it really came out in handfuls and clumps, (she wasn't working at the time) then she just didn't like the feeling of it constantly falling, and looking uneven. Showering was difficult. So, we did a short buzz cut. Some more fell out from there, but not nearly as noticeably. Cutting her hair, vs shaving seemed kinder to the scalp. I don't know if you plan on wearing a wig, she wears little caps and hats.
My mother was diagnosed with bc 6 months after my sister (at age 42), so our families have something in common.
Very Best Wishes to you all,
Nanci
