Hey Ladies -
I was diagnosed with mucinous invasive breast cancer in August, had a lumpectomy in September, and it turns out I'm ER+, HERS-2+, node negative, with an Oncotype DX score of 74 - so they are recommending chemo. I wasn't even going to do the radiation - and now they suggest chemo, herceptin, radiation and tamoxifen! I'm trying to decide now if I should do the traditional route or go alternative...I'm 49, and have a 9 year old daughter. . .so I'm thinking twice about the alternative approach. I have to let the dr. know by Monday. . .since I'm over 6 weeks out from surgery...any advice?
Lori
