Hi Cathy,
What a great and thoughtful idea! Your sister and her church friends deserve a huge "thank you". I wore many scarves while in treatment. Those made of cotton were best...no slipping. I preferred the 24" squared ones. I folded it in a triangle and when placed on head pulled the ends together in a scrunchie (at the back toward back of neck). The ends then could be tucked around the scrunchie. Wore this with big hoop earrings. Since my head got cold at night (it was winter) I bought a lightly sewn pink "night" cap from the American Cancer Society booklet. It was wonderful..not too tight and very light but gently warm. Hope that this helps. Thanks for helping your sis and friends out and of course all of the "sisters" here.
Best regards,
Peg
