Hey Allyson, ![]()

Why are you scared, you ask - because it is normal to be scared!
I want to encourage you, My Friend, that you'll be okey dokey. You'll probably feel fine the day of chemo - eat something light for breakfast though. The next day, especially after you get the neulasta shot, will probably be the start of some not-so-good days. Take the pain meds for the joint pain. I got my shot around 3 PM and felt some leg pains around 9 PM which was OK because it was time for bed. I took my vicodin & went to sleep. But I woke up in the middle of the night to so I could take my zofran(anti-nausea) pill on time.
Please listen to your body - if it says, "I need to rest" then go lay down and rest, Girlfriend. If you need some medicine, then take it - this is not the time to "tough it out" and feel yucky needlessly.
I haven't had a pet scan but I recall talking with woman who did. She said they injected stuff and it was "a lot easier than that loud, noisy MRI where I had to be still for 30 minutes." Hope you'll find that to be the case too....
Allyson, the Lord knows exactly how you are feeling and I know that you trust Him to take care of you. I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts & prayers - that He will give you peace, comfort and strength to face what lies ahead. He is so good - see, He gave me You!
Gentle hugs & a quick, but small wedgie!
Love & blessings,
Jeanne
