I am on the 23 of oct for my first chemo. My birthday is the 25...so it should be fun. I had a single mast after the lumpectomy. It all was first found in May as just a spot on the mamogram. One node was found in the masectomy and here I am haveing chemo starting. I am doing same kind as Jeanne but for six sessions once every 3 weeks 18 weeks total. They want me to follow up with Radiation but I want another opinion... I am having the pet scan on Friday.
It all does happen so fast and Jeanne is so right to take it one hour at a time. Some days it just hits you....take a deap breath and take it one hour at a time.
