Thanks so much for your encouragement. It really helps alot to read everyone's replies and to know I am not alone in this battle. I try not to say to much around my family because I don't want to cause them too much concern, but then I feel I have to suffer in silence. So many thoughts come up when we're feeling down....especially thoughts of the cancer coming back....and not being around much longer.
I wish I could make this cancer go away for everyone. It's a cruel disease. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I question why our higher power hasn't helped us find a cure...
Thankfully, I don't have another treatment of the "red devil". But I do have three more treatments of Docetaxel / Taxotere. My chemo treatment won't be over until December. Has anyone heard of this chemo drug. My oncologist said I shouldn't have nausea with this drug. The side effect is more associated with aches and pains....I said I'd much rather have aches and pains over the nausea.
