Part of our every four hour assessments on our pts receiving chemotherapy (in-patient)was checking mouth for painful lesions, determining if any stomach and/or abdominal distress is present, and any lesions close to anus. The two chemos you are receiving have been shown to cause "hypersensitivity reactions" in a small percent of patients. One thing to note is that it is a known fact that your skin will become more fragile (breaks down faster) with prolonged steroid therapy. I hope your future treatments are not as harsh. Be well.
