My Dr. is acting as though he's NEVER heard of this "burning" diarrhea. He said diarrhea yes, but not the burning that i'm describing. It feels like i'm passing a bottle of hot sauce. LOL The first treatment it only lasted for a few days but this last one it lasted for 5 days. He said to try and take immodium the morning of my chemo which is again tomorrow. He told me all through my A/C treatments that once I got done with those it would be a cakewalk with the taxol/herceptin. WRONG! My premeds are benadryl, aloxi, and zantac. And of course the dreaded decadron the night before and morning of. Dr. even suggested it was the decadron causing it. I said "no, i've been on those for 4 months why would decadron just now be dong this?" It's something new you're giving me. Most likely either the taxol or the herceptin. Thanks Di!
