Hi Lalani.....It really is confusing. More information is needed to give you a clearer path to decision re chemo. I would suggest checking on this site (posting to) Diane from Tx our OCN nurse. She may be able to lead you to a site that can help you. What is your oncologists or surgeon's take on this? A thought occurs to me......if the sentinal node was positive how may nodes in total were taken out and how many of those were positive....and how is the onc arriving at the treatment plan based on the stats that he or she has acquired?
This is a lot to digest but you seem to be honing in on the heart of the information that you need. Once your plan is firmed up and you actually get started it seems to be a lot less stressful. Please let us know what you decide so we can be there for you on the journey.
