Hi Girls,
I know Suzanne just had her tx and Margie's is on Friday, just wondering how everyone was doing. I think Becky's may be on Thursdays.
Up late and can't sleep as usual and need to rattle off for a while.
I'm hoping this is my last chemo tx for a while since I should be having surgery around the end of July to remove one of the mets.
Rads were supposed to be over with on Monday but rad onc wants to do 3 - 5 more since "I'm doing so well" (Ha! I have a big red square on my chest wall that itches like crazy) but at least the tumor is shrinking. Wants it as small as possible before surgery. Oh well, guess I'll endure.
I've had rads to that area before so this is a little dangerous since it can actually cause a new cancer later on down the road but it's a trade off since the mets are already there now. If I don't get them gone now there won't be a "down the road" so I'm taking the risk. I'm not as concerned with 10 - 15 years from now as I am about the next 2 - 3. Ewwww!!! Enough of that kind of talk.
I'm actually, finally feeling better since I've been home, just in time for the next round. At least I'll feel ok till Saturday or Sunday.
Guess I've rattled on long enough. Thanks for listening and being here for me girls. Don't know what I'd do without ya'll.
