I sure know what you're talking about as far as feeling bad with these particuliar drugs.I've heard some people call taxotere the freight train drug, because you feel ike a freight train hit you. I don't know what to tell you sbout the pain relievers, except that you have to pin your onc down and get him to tell you specifically what to do. Tell him about the contradictory info you're getting, and that you have to have something to take for pain. I used to just take Tylenol. When I did get high fever with the first treatment, it was too high to be effected by Tylenol anyway. Wish I had better advice for you-just put your foot down with that onc and make him help you-you can't just be left confused and with a horrible headache.
