Hello everyone,
I had my second round of taxotere, carboplatin and herceptin Thursday and I'm feeling pretty bad. It is different this time. I have a killer headache. I'm confused on what to take. My onco nurse said to not take anti-inflamatories such as advil or alieve. She said it does something with the chemo. My onco said to not take tylenol because it can mask a fever. I want to take something. I have some heavy duty pain killers from my port surgery. I may just take that. I know I should call my doctor back but I thought I would ask you all if you had experienced this contradiction in information.
