This may only help in a minor way, but I'll mention it anyway. I have had some nosebleeds for other reasons, and found something that helped manage them. There is a product in the bandaid aisle of some drug stores (CVS) called Nasal Cease. It is a special nose packing that has calcium to promote clotting, and it also absorbs blood and forms a gel so it won't stick to the inside of your nose when you pull it out. I had a persistent nosebleed that kept cracking open every day, and I just used this once, and it healed up without cracking open again. You might try this first before resorting to cauterizing.
Also, I believe there is a medicine or herb they can give you to help minimize the tingling. I wish I could remember the name. Maybe someone else will post it.
Hugs and healing thoughts to you.
