Hi everyone - I just finished #7 of taxol of 12 weekly treatments for my first round of chemo, then after the taxol they are switching me to cytoxan/ellence for four treatments every 3 weeks. My questions is - it seems that my side effects are slowly getting worse and worse as the taxol is getting more and more into my body. I didn't have any numbness in my arms or hands in 1-5 and after 6, I started having numbness in my left arm and tingling in my fingers. My nosebleeds are getting worse - sometimes 4-5 a day and my nose hurts all the time. Been putting a little vaseline up in it to try and keep it moist and that seems to help, but the worst of all is the fatigue. I know I'm 55 and I just don't have the energy that I used to, but it seems after each treatment it gets worse and worse. At this rate, by treatment l2 I'm not going to be able to move around at all. Right now, I'm still able to work three days a week and that's stretching it. So am I assuming that it's just going to keep getting harder on me? Any one have any good news out there? Becky
