I understand exactly how you feel. When I was diagnosed with stage 111 IDC 6 years ago I didn't want another pill to take that could cause another cancer. I am er-pr positive with 11 out of 14 positive nodes.
I did FEC chemo and 32 rads.
Find out just how much reduction in your risk for recurrance that taking an AI or tamoxifen will make. Find out what it's benefit for you would be.
Remember also that now after five years on tamoxifen they may want to switch you to another AI. Or two or three years in to it they may want to switch.
You need to do what is right for you. None of the AI's nor tamoxifen carry a guarantee that a women won't get a recurrance.
