Think positively, despite the immediate scare, and you might be surprised to know you've got an extra rib, or something. I'll let you in on a scare I had, when I was 16 years old. I went with my Mother to my first gynocologist appt, and the doctor told my Mother and I that he felt a grapefruit-sized mass in my pelvic region. My Mother commenced to crying on the spot, and I sat there stunned into silence, as I'd just lost a good friend of mine (another 16 year old to a horrible and prolonged death by cancer). Anyway, after I spent all day testing at the nearest radiologist office, and taking breaks to go breakdown in the car in the parking lot from stress. It was found that I was merely CONSTIPATED Needless to say, that was my last visit to THAT particular ob-gyn. From that day forward, only a female ob-gyn for me, anyway. The shock of being asking to put my legs in stirrups in front of an elderly man, while basically being nude, was daunting and life-altering! Super hugs to you. You are going to be alright!
