Hi there Miss NYC,
I can empathize with you. I got a text from my CP this AM. He was asking me if I had sent him an ecard. We broke up about 9 months ago after 5 years of on and off and on and off, etc. During Valentine's Day it was always either hot or cold, no in-between. Those 5 years of getting back together and breaking it off was just me being hopeful. I moved away for a year and we broke it off 2 months into my moving away. His last words to me were, I love you 'like a sister.' Three months ago, he emailed me to tell me he found someone (he said it seems to be very serious) and it hurt me, but I knew it was for the best. I am starting to date around now and am fixed on moving forward. I am not going to text him back nor answer his calls anymore. I will be moving back home now of which he knows about; I just hope he will leave me alone. I am done with his patterns too! Let's help each other. As my best friend always says....onward and upward!
