He had some other advice on things I should do to seal up the foundation of house (since he knows house so well after the work that was done). He just wanted to let me know. I cordially thanked him for the tips and that was that. He was being VERY chatty, seemed to be lingering for sure, but I cut it off. This morning he and his partner were out with chain saws and took it down, she was lugging the logs to woods, etc. cleaned it all up. And girl (30ish +) came by today, bought sofa, paid cash, loves it. My castoff, her treasure! Here is the funny part. She was attractive, very business like, smart etc. says to me as she is leaving, not sure I will pick it up this weekend as I need to go on a search and see if I can find a strong guy to help me move it. I thought probably some other perfectly wonderful woman w/lots to offer... alone. Of course truthfully I know nothing from such a brief encounter, but it was interesting.
Builder guy rung bell two nights ago, just wanted to come by to say he would like to take tree down, if I was still interested. He was OBVIOUSLY stuttering and stammering in my presence, nervous wreck. Couldn't complete a sentence! (I was shocked he was allowed to speak with me alone w/o partner.)
