Anyone know what's involved in replacing the original single bowl master cylinder with a dual bowl MC for a '64, 289, 4SP 2dr hardtop? Did Mercury make a dual for this car? What other year/model would work? Had a scare recently when the newly installed exhaust system u-bolt rubbed a hole through the rubber rear hose. Lost brakes going downhill. Managed to get it stopped by downshifting and hauling on the e-brake. Really would like to upgrade to dual resovouir. Tks!
