I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner I have been on vacation. I inherited the car from my grandfather and started to restore it in the late 80's early 90's. I had the engine rebuilt and the top replaced, but wanted to leave the paint and interior original. I didn't think it would be wise to simply cover any major problems. I decided to put it in the garage until I had money and know-how to do it right. It's been there for the past 15+ years. I did start it occasionally. When I decided to look into selling it I found some minor problems. I had to replace the water outlet, battery, starter and exhaust gasket. It runs great, but the exhaust gasket doesn't have a good seal and the transmission isn't working. I am going to get it looked at in the next few weeks and expect it to run great.
I am not an expert on cars by any means and I fear that any dollar I put it into it would be wasted if I sold it to anyone with the knowledge and connections to have the same job done for fifty cents or less.
I will forward you some pictures and please let me know if there is anything you'd like to know about the car. I would really like to sell to someone who wants restore it and not use if for parts.
thanks,
