They haven't done allocations for this year yet. That's how things are at MIT. And we have a 2 year old 50 meter pool, so your school can't pull the "our facility is nicer" card.

At MIT, we've actually struggled with this a little bit. Until we were officially recognized as a club sport, the aquatics department wanted to charge us. Then they didn't charge us for practice time, but they did want to charge us $75/hour to host a meet. However, the club sports council has a policy that we get to host one tournament per year for free with no facilities charges (i.e. we still have to pay for the lifeguard).
