Posted by Becky Trombley-Domegan There are a lot of us here who can help you to get a club started at your college. Here are a few things you can do during the summer to get a head start on starting a club in the fall: 1. Contact Jennie at USSS to get a copy of the booklet "How to Start a Collegiate Program." Jennie's email is jennie@usasynchro.org. 2. Contact Susan Ivie Boling, the Director of Club Sports at VCU, at 804-827-0323 or siboling@vcu.edu. She would be the first resource to discuss how to start a club, how to get funding, pool time, recruiting, etc. 3. There's a great page about Recreational Sports at VCU at http://www.students.vcu.edu/recsports/clubs.html - this has a lot of resources, including the advisors and contacts for other Club sports, who you might want to talk to for some advice I would be delighted to help you further if you need anything - please feel free to email me anytime!! Becky
