Posted by Becky Trombley-Domegan I don't understand how your question is related to the issue of Title IX or the possible formation of a varsity program at UC Berkeley or other schools which might be in violation of Title IX. If you need further information on the National Women's Law Center, you will find their web site at http://www.nwlc.org/. The national governing body of synchronized swimming does permit men in collegiate competition. I am not sure about NCAA rules. Regarding the issue of Bill May, I don't think you'll find many people on this board who disagree that he is incredibly talented and deserves to compete internationally. If you'd like to find out more information about how you can write to FINA or assist our national governing body in this quest, you might want to contact USSS using the contact information from the home page of this Web site. I know that they have been very active in this area and that they share your hope that Bill and other men will be able to compete. Becky
