Hi Jo and Mike !!
I felt I must leave you all a message after attending the matinee performance at St Thomas Moores' Church, Coventry, yesterday.
I first remember meeting you guys all those many moons ago at Soli House when I was on my Youth Leaders Course (we are talking 1994/5!!) and the same time that "Bread of Life" was born. You were truly amazing and an inspiration then and I am honoured to say that you are now even more fantastic!! "Bread of life" has been a part of my life for so many years now and I feel that it's ministry has shaped my faith remarkably. You were speaking yesterday Jo about how you felt singing along to "A King is Born", I feel like that with all of your songs - they are just so powerful!! I have been reading over some of the other messages that have been posted and wish to comment on what has previously been stated. My children's school and Parish - Sacred Heart in Coventry - use alot of your work in their assemblies, liturgical services, masses and Christmas performances. In fact the recent Christmas performance " We have seen the Light" used music from your own "Promise" concert. Like the lady that commented before, it is a joy that the word of God is being spread to younger generations in a fun and meaningful way and I do hope that, along with their own journey of Faith, my children will be able to relate to your work in the way that I have done for the past 15 years. In fact, my eldest daughter (who is 9) attended the concert with me yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it; so you definitely have another sheep to add to your flock!!
Once again, thank you so much for being a part of my life for so long and for helping my Faith to remain steadfast and true. I look forward to next year's performance!!
