Hi It's me again. Kenyetta from the Bronx. I did see some responses for NY Nail Techs but I haven't been on in a while. I'm busting my butt trying to get my masters degree, and I have been under the weather. Yes to all the responses of hooking up, and networking together. We deal with discrimination of all kinds when it comes to things in general even with our own kind. I went to an event not to long ago, and we actually was able to sit down and talk and do nails with other positive black sisters. I even met the famous Ms. Bonnie wow we are going to do it up soon in NYC she is a true nail diva with a beautiful personality. That is all I need to be around, if we help each other out we are not competing with one another because we are not in the same location like right across the street like the other salons we just assist with some things share, go to the shows together and just help another black sister out or any other race that needs help. But first and only first is uplifting our own skills and businesses. I always say you are not measured in life by the dollars you make but what you give back and I am still not finish giving even though I am new to the nail business. Just took the state board two weeks ago. the examiner said I did a great job which was shocking I thought you couldn't talk to any of the test takers. Anyway ladies, you can reach me via-email after I get some responses to see where we are and how we can hook up. Much love to The future nail techs. Blessings, Kenya
