HELP WITH ACRYLIC PAINT!!

i have a question............... whenever i do nail designs with acrylic paint they always seem to take so long to dry,i let them dry for like 10 minutes and when i try to put top coat on them they always seem to smudge, like the colors start to get in the other colors. HELP PRINCES!!!
