Hello fellow nail techs...I'm here in Florida and I am a full specialist...Here's the story I was at the airport working in a spa that was commision only I left cause there werent any people really coming in now I am renting a booth at a salon by my house even though I do nails and facials there isnt any room in the shop for me to do facials so I'm just doing nails only....I'm not saying I'm as awesome as Princess but I feel as if I am pretty damn good...This is the life I chose or shall I say what I've always wanted to do...But at the moment I'm feeling a little discouraged because now I feel like I'm in the same boat again (no clients) there's another nail tech in the shop but she only works one day a week and only does her own clients where I work everyday except sat closed sunday and I do walk-ins as well(not that many though) I need some help because I'm seriously thinking about leaving nails alone and getting a JOB with a steady paycheck...if any of you can give me some pointers on how to draw business in for myself please let me know hell you can even email me with some ideas about specials I could run...I'm trying to think up a special for Mother's Day but I dont think that is going to be enough....Please help!!!! :-( Any ideas and comments are greatly appreciated...
