hi malie, you can use normal topcoat but it would be nice to invest in some good UV topcoat and a "great" regular topcoat. you see a good topcoat give the nail a nice finish, super shiny and also protects the design and applying a new coat like every three days or so keeps it looking fresh longer. you are welcome anytime, if you wish you can email me personally for any other queries you may have. take care

: is to do your regualr acrylic application
: whether it is pink and whites, regular
: overlay, design colour acrylics whatever...
: just do it like you would do your normally,
: which inccludes filing, shaping, buffing
: etc. then when nail is to your suit you then
: apply a little monomer to the nail then
: apply your acrylic 3d design cap with an UV
: topcoat or gel finisher and then massage in
: yr cuticle oil and thast it

: : so i guess what i would need to do is make
: a
: very clean acrylic application at first so i
: wouldn't have to file after i apply it, or
: can i file it then put on the 3d nail?

: : hi when i do a 3d nail i finish the
: acrylic
: application to the nail then i wipe with a
: little momomer then apply the 3d artwork.
: thats how i do it hope it helps oh also you
: dont file 3d nails after you do them you
: would just be filing away the artwork, you
: can either apply uv topcoat or a gel finish
