hello malie .. in answer to yr question (i will see how best i can explain) whatyou do is to do your regualr acrylic application whether it is pink and whites, regular overlay, design colour acrylics whatever... just do it like you would do your normally, which inccludes filing, shaping, buffing etc. then when nail is to your suit you then apply a little monomer to the nail then apply your acrylic 3d design cap with an UV topcoat or gel finisher and then massage in yr cuticle oil and thast it
