Spirals/ 3-D

Can someone please explain to me how to do the nails with acrylic spiraled on the end..also for 3-D nails..I have not mastered how to sculpt alot of characters and shapes I kind of just freestyle designs is there any advice you can give me on good acrylic and texture for 3-D I know it shouldn't be too wet but maybe someone can give me some tips on sculpting 3-D Thanks soooo much!
