If you do quality work, let that speak for itself......NEVER lower your prices to compete with the asian shops!! Some people appreciate quality......and don't mind paying for it, but, in the beginning when you're trying to build a base, sometimes you have to discount a couple of services to get their busines...never use the word "free" when advertising your work....a better term would be "complimentary." Sometines "free" is interpeted as "cheap workmanship" in our field, and some people wonder why...you also don't want to give the impression that you're "desperately" trying to build a base because some people tend to take advantage of techs like that, thinking they can get a cheap or discounted rate because your need their business, so try not to give too much away in the beginning. It gets annoying after awhile because then they begin to ALWAYS expect that!
